Snowday Predictions for 3/1/12

Snowman is a little under the weather at the moment. This update will be shorter than my previous ones as I battle a migraine at the composition of this prediction.

So,  we’re in for a bit of a mixed bag. We have a mixture of Freezing Rain, Sleet, Hail, and Snow to come.  Interesting enough, I have more confidence that we will have a day off tomorrow than I was last night (hence no prediction) and we had an early dismissal. My concerns are that its a mixture. Plus there is already a bit of snow on the ground already, and also, we’ll get some ice.

We’ll potentially see a quarter to a half an inch of ice, and maybe another 1-3 inches. We can see this as potential minimums. It is also very possible that we will see accumulations above this, but I’d rather aim low and be wrong, than aim high and be wrong. The events are in motion, and the local weather affiliates are reporting an additional 3 to 5 inches of snow tonight. I don’t know about all that. Presumably, it’s raining now.

We will play an arousing round of “The Temperature Game.” The goal is to stay as close to 32 degrees as possible without going over. It’s harder than it sounds, much like Blackjack. And I always seem to lose at Blackjack.

I hope for a snowday. I’m burned this week, and I’d love some extra time off. Next week will be nothing but meetings, appointments, and all this other nonsense that I have to put up with. And, ontop of that, I’d really just like a day where I can sleep in past 7 a.m. Updates as needed (definitely at 10)
